ISTANBUL (AA) - Israeli forces blew up an abandoned house and opened machine-gun fire toward agricultural land in Syria’s southern Quneitra province on Thursday, Syrian media reported.
Syria’s state-run Alikhbariah TV said Israeli forces demolished an abandoned house in the town of Hamidiyah in the northern Quneitra countryside.
In a separate incident, Israeli troops stationed at western Tal al-Ahmar opened machine-gun fire toward farmland surrounding the town of Kudna, the broadcaster reported.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
The incidents come amid repeated Israeli military incursions into southern Syria.
Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime in December 2024, Israel has carried out repeated incursions into southern Syria after declaring the 1974 disengagement agreement void and occupying the demilitarized buffer zone.
Damascus has repeatedly demanded the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Syrian territory.
