ISTANBUL (AA) - Israeli President Isaac Herzog met his Hungarian counterpart, Andras Baka, in Budapest on Tuesday during a visit to Hungary.
Baka described the meeting as “fruitful discussions” in a post on US social media platform X, saying peace, security and stability should not be taken for granted.
“We must never take peace, security and stability for granted. It is our responsibility to learn from the past and to work towards a safer, more stable and more peaceful future,” he added.
Video on social media appeared to show Herzog’s motorcade traveling in Hungary without Israeli flags.
Reports suggested the absence of flags was linked to security concerns, although it could not be independently confirmed.
