ISTANBUL (AA) - Real Madrid secured a comfortable 3-0 away victory over Racing Santander on Sunday in Week 11 of the Spanish La Liga, with Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Yan Diomande scoring in the first half.
The visitors took the lead in the 11th minute when Mbappe converted a penalty awarded after a VAR review found that Matteo Prati had fouled the French forward inside the area.
Real Madrid doubled their advantage 11 minutes later through Bellingham, who latched onto a well-timed through ball from Turkish midfielder Arda Guler, rounded goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala and rolled the ball into the empty net.
In the 36th minute, Guler's partially cleared corner fell to Diomande on the edge of the penalty area, and the Ivorian winger fired a powerful half-volley into the top corner to make it 3-0.
Real Madrid entered halftime with a commanding three-goal advantage.
Mbappe nearly added a fourth goal in the 60th minute when Guler set him up on a counterattack, but the French striker's powerful effort struck the post.
The ball eventually returned to Mbappe, who sent his second attempt narrowly over the crossbar.
Bellingham also appeared to score his second goal of the match later in the second half, but the effort was ruled out for offside.
The visitors maintained their advantage in the closing stages to secure a 3-0 victory.
Real Madrid remained third in La Liga with 27 points after 11 matches, while Racing Santander is now in 16th place with 11 points.
