- Embassy in Tehran says all activities continue normally

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Russian Embassy in Tehran on Saturday denied media reports that Russian experts had left the Bushehr nuclear power plant in southern Iran.
In a statement, the embassy said reports of the evacuation of embassy personnel and experts working at the plant “are FAKES.”
It stressed that all activities were continuing normally.
Some international media outlets claimed Russian experts working at the plant had left the Islamic Republic and that Moscow had sent an aircraft to evacuate them.
The development comes amid reports that US President Donald Trump is weighing renewed attacks on Iran.
The US-Israeli war on Iran, which began in February and led to a wider conflict in the Middle East, remains unresolved despite a ceasefire and an agreement to finalize a peace deal.
Washington and Tehran remain at odds over a range of issues, including the latter's nuclear program and its position on navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway where a fifth of the world's oil flowed before the war.
