Türkiye's BIST 100 up opening session

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 11,473.82 points, up by 0.38% or 43.68 points.

At Monday's close, the BIST 100 fell by 2.49% to 11,430.14 points, with a daily transaction volume of 106 billion liras ($2.14 billion).

As of 10.15 am local time (0715GMT), exchange rates stood at 49.5775 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.7170 to the euro, and 66.2485 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,128.90, while Brent crude futures were trading at $110.3 per barrel.
