MOSCOW/ISTANBUL (AA) - At least nine people were killed as Russia and Ukraine continue to trade accusations concerning overnight and daytime airstrikes.
Ukraine's State Emergency Service (DSNS) said on Telegram that three people were killed and six others injured in Russian attacks on a production and warehouse facility in the Obukhiv district of the Kyiv region.
"The fire has been extinguished, and debris clearance operations are underway," said the DSNS, while Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said one person was killed and seven injured after a drone crashed near a gas station in the capital's Holosiivskyi district.
In the northeastern Kharkiv region, five people were injured in a drone attack on the city of Izium, according to the DSNS.
The agency later reported that three were killed and two injured in Russian strikes on the city of Kramatorsk in the eastern Donetsk region.
Two others were also killed in the Dnipropetrovsk region following strikes on warehouse facilities in the regional capital, it said, noting four were injured and a fire broke out at the site.
The DSNS added that strikes on energy facilities, railway infrastructure and a transport company were recorded in the Odesa, Zhytomyr and Kovel regions, respectively.
First Deputy Energy Minister Artem Nekrasov said in a video briefing that Russia targeted energy facilities in the central Kirovohrad and southern Odesa regions, as well as those in the western Zhytomyr, Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi regions during overnight and morning strikes.
Ukraine's Air Force claimed that air defenses downed 115 of 165 drones launched by Russia overnight.
The Russian Defense Ministry said its forces struck Ukrainian logistics and port infrastructure, as well as cargo vessels used to transport military and dual-use supplies for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It said a logistics center in Khmelnytskyi, a transport and logistics center in Kovel in the Volyn region, and three cargo vessels unloading supplies at the port of Reni in the Odesa region were hit.
The ministry claimed that Russian forces struck a cargo vessel carrying military supplies to Ukraine while it was sailing toward the port of Odesa.

The Russian Defense Ministry also claimed that air defenses intercepted and destroyed 136 Ukrainian drones in 14 regions overnight.
In the border region of Kursk, Gov. Alexander Khinshtein said on Russian social media platform Max that an energy facility in the Oktyabrsky district was hit following a Ukrainian drone strike, injuring three people.
"Power supply has been disrupted in the Oktyabrsky and Kurchatovsky districts, affecting nearly 17,000 subscribers. Emergency crews will begin restoration work shortly, once the area has been inspected," he said.
Tambov Gov. Yevgeny Pervyshov said a fire broke out at a facility in the Michurinsky district.
Independent verification of Russia and Ukraine's claims is difficult due to the ongoing war.
Moscow and Kyiv have ramped up strikes in recent months, targeting each other’s logistics centers, ports and energy infrastructure.
Both sides deny deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure, maintaining that the strikes are directed at military targets or facilities linked to military activities.
The strikes on energy infrastructure come as an energy ceasefire proposed by US President Donald Trump earlier this month collapsed.
