France: Thousands join mass demonstration against government policies in Paris
PARIS, FRANCE - OCTOBER 31: Thousands of protesters march through the streets of Paris, France, on October 31, 2026, during a large demonstration against the government's economic and social policies. Trade unions, students, Yellow Vests and political activists take part in the protest, carrying banners, placards and flags. The march follows an alternative route imposed by authorities after the initially planned Bastille-Nation itinerary was banned. A heavy police presence is deployed along the route.
