Fossil Free London stages protest against Shell in London

LONDON, UK - OCT. 28, 2026: Climate activists protested energy company Shell’s profits and fossil fuel operations in London on Wednesday, responding to a call by environmental group Fossil Free London.

Gathering near Shell’s headquarters, protesters dressed as company executives fired fake dollar bills from “golden guns” and staged a recreation of the company’s offices in the 1960s. The demonstration aimed to highlight reports that Shell had known about the climate impacts of fossil fuels for decades.

Shell is set to report its third-quarter 2026 results on Oct. 29.
