French MEP Rima Hassan arrives at Paris Courthouse for trial over alleged apology of terrorism (2)

PARIS, FRANCE - OCT. 19, 2026: French member of the European Parliament representing La France Insoumise, Rima Hassan, arrived at the Paris courthouse on Monday, Oct. 19, for her trial over allegations of apology of terrorism.

Hassan was detained in April on allegations of "terrorist propaganda" after sharing on social media statements by Kozo Okamoto, a former member of the Japanese Red Army who expressed support for Palestine.
