Italy’s largest union rallies in Milan following urban violence

MILAN, ITALY - OCT. 21, 2026: Italy’s largest trade union, the CGIL, staged a demonstration in central Milan on Wednesday, Oct. 21, rallying under the slogan "Open Call for Social Cohesion" following recent outbreaks of urban violence and disorder in the city.

Demonstrators assembled at Piazza della Scala, directly outside Milan City Hall, to condemn the violence and call for an end to such incidents.
