Russell Brand arrives in court over sexual offence allegations

LONDON, UK - OCT. 19: British comedian and actor Russell Brand arrived at Southwark Crown Court in London on Monday, Oct. 19 alongside his wife, Laura Brand, in connection with rape and sexual assault charges.

The charges stem from allegations made by a 51-year-old woman, who alleges that Brand raped her more than 25 years ago.

UK prosecutors alleged that Russell Brand was "ruthless," and a "sexual predator," as the 51-year-old comedian's rape and sexual assault trial began Wednesday.
