ISRAEL - OCT. 29, 2026: Anti-Netanyahu Israelis gathered outside the home of Gadi Eisenkot, a former military chief and leader of the Yashar Party, urging him to form a unity government that includes Arab parties to replace Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.
Protesters carried banners calling for a political partnership with Arab parties, peace with Palestinians and stronger coexistence.
Israel’s public broadcaster KAN reported that vote counting had been completed, with Netanyahu’s bloc securing 53 seats, the Change bloc 48 and Arab parties 19 in the 120-member Knesset.
Final results are expected next Wednesday, after verification procedures are completed.
