Cyclonic storm Arnab hits India's Andhra Pradesh coast

ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA - OCTOBER 28, 2026: Cyclonic storm Arnab has reached the coast of India's Andhra Pradesh state after forming in the Bay of Bengal in the northeastern Indian Ocean.

Prakhar Jain, head of the state's disaster management agency, said the storm had begun affecting coastal areas, with wind speeds reaching 135 kilometers per hour.
