St. Petersburg marks Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repressions

ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA - OCT. 30: People gathered in St. Petersburg on Friday, Oct. 30, to mark the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions.

Citizens came together to pay tribute and honor the memory of those who suffered under historical political persecution.

Russia officially observes the memorial day annually on Oct. 30.
