Thousands join Lord of Miracles religious procession in Peru's Lima

LIMA, PERU - OCT. 19: Thousands of devotees gathered in Lima, Peru, on Monday, Oct. 19, for the third procession honoring the Lord of Miracles, a depiction of Jesus Christ.

The procession passed through the streets of Lima's historic center, drawing large crowds of worshippers taking part in the annual religious celebration.

Participants also held a tribute outside the Palace of Justice as part of the procession.

Held every October, the Lord of Miracles processions are considered among the largest religious gatherings in Latin America.
