VIBO VALENTIA, ITALY - OCT. 20: Truck drivers and agricultural workers continued protests against rising fuel prices and the high cost of living in Vibo Valentia, in Italy's southern Calabria region, as demonstrations disrupted supply chains.
The protests, which began in early October, have severely affected the distribution of goods across the region.
In Vibo Valentia, shops remained closed amid disruptions to heavy goods vehicle deliveries, while local residents joined peaceful demonstrations at the San Onofrio crossroads.
The protests were organized spontaneously by truck drivers and agricultural workers over rising costs and fuel prices.
