Zombie parade held in Italy's Naples ahead of upcoming horror festival

NAPLES, ITALY - OCT. 17, 2026: People dressed as zombies took part in a parade through Naples on Saturday, Oct. 17, as part of events organized ahead of Halloween by the Napoli Horror Festival.

The parade began at Piazzetta Berlinguer, continued along Via Toledo and headed toward Galleria Umberto I, bringing together horror and makeup enthusiasts.

The event was held as a prelude to the Napoli Horror Festival 2026, an interdisciplinary festival featuring horror, theater, dance and electronic music. The festival's main program is scheduled to take place from Nov. 20 to 22 at Ex Base NATO, also known as Parco San Laise, in Naples.
