ISTANBUL (AA) - Greek students on Tuesday set up tents near parliament in Athens to protest high housing costs, according to daily Kathimerini.
University students set up their tents to stay overnight on the eve of a planned march by high school students on Wednesday.
The mobilization was the second of its kind within a few days as students criticize the high cost of housing across the country.
On Wednesday, high school students plan a march to call for better state education, more funding, smaller classes, higher staffing, and cheaper products at school canteens.
Similar demonstrations are also planned for Thessaloniki and towns throughout the country.
