ANKARA (AA) - Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Guler and Chief of General Staff Gen. Selcuk Bayraktaroglu on Wednesday attended a meeting of the defense ministers and chiefs of general staff of Türkiye, Bulgaria and Romania in Sofia.
According to a statement from the Turkish National Defense Ministry, Guler and Bayraktaroglu were welcomed upon their arrival at the Boyana Government Residence by Bulgarian Defense Minister Dimitar Stoyanov and Chief of Defense Adm. Emil Eftimov.
Guler later posed for a family photo with Stoyanov, Romanian Defense Minister Stefan-Radu Oprea, Bayraktaroglu, Eftimov and Romanian Chief of Defense Gen. Gheorghita Vlad.
Following the photo session, the three countries’ defense ministers and chiefs of general staff proceeded to the meeting.
