Turkish president meets Uzbek counterpart in Ankara

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday met with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the capital Ankara.

Erdogan welcomed Mirziyoyev, who arrived in Ankara to attend the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, at the Presidential Complex.

The two leaders posed for photographs in front of the Turkish and Uzbek flags and shook hands before proceeding to their bilateral meeting.

Following the meeting, the leaders will attend a signing ceremony for agreements to be concluded between the two countries.
