Türkiye's BIST 100 up at weekly open

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 11,180.31 points, up by 0.57% or 63.33 points.

At Friday's close, the BIST 100 fell by 0.92% to 11,116.99 points, with a daily transaction volume of 148 billion liras ($2.98 billion).

As of 10.00 am local time (0700GMT), exchange rates stood at 49.7620 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.8430 to the euro, and 66.5990 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,108.1, while Brent crude futures were trading at $115.07 per barrel.
