ISTANBUL (AA) – Yemen’s military said Friday that the Houthi group targeted Aden International Airport and the presidential palace in the southern city of Aden with ballistic missiles.
Military spokesman Majed Abdullah al-Nuzaili said in a statement that the Houthis had launched ballistic missiles at the airport and the Maashiq Presidential Palace.
The reported attacks come a day after the Aden airport resumed operations following a temporary suspension caused by a Houthi missile strike on Wednesday.
Yemeni authorities said two civilians were injured and the airport sustained damage in Wednesday’s attack, which prompted emergency repairs to the runway.
